Monteverde  Backpackers is located 100 meters from the  main bus station in  town (SANTA ELENA) .
We  have  an  excellent location right in the main street, across the street from  the supermarket with in walking distance from every single place in town.

The breakfast was wonderful! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location, right next to the main street!

This is a small hostel that is clean, connected and convenient. The hostel itself is about 2 min walk away from a supermarket and 1 more to the main street of Santa Elena. The manager provides a great deal of information on activities around Monteverde, as well as connections to other areas. He goes out of his way to make your stay in Monteverde as pleasurable as possible. Its is a beautiful area.

We were really impressed with this small hostel. It was quiet and friendly, with free tea and coffee all day and a kitchen for making simple meals in. Overall it is one of the best values in town.
